sk wwghe branding
challenge
a friend from my block reached out to me to make a full-fledged branding deck for their sk! this was my biggest project as a freshman so i was nervous
this quickly became an exercise in building a brand from the ground up, defining its identity, establishing its direction, and moving this into a cohesive visual system.
approach
I took a strategy-first approach, understanding org's goals and personality first before making it into a visual direction so it could be carried across their different platforms and materials, at any point in time.
my goal was to create something flexible and timeless enough for them to grow with, while still feeling distinct and recognizable.
the work
I developed the SK’s core brand identity and documented it into a comprehensive branding deck which included its voice and tone, logo, primary and secondary color palettes, typography, visual motifs, visual identity device, and overall design language, along with guidelines for how these elements should be used consistently across different brand applications.

what i learned
big ideas are only intimidating until you start working your way toward it. if you have that project you want to start, start somewhere! you'll figure out the rest as you go along.
thank you chelsea from sk wwghe for the opportunity to work on this! :)
